I live in the Pacific Northwest where I have an opportunity to view nature every day, and make a living as an artist. Moreover, I enjoy working in graphite pencil, colored pencil, in addition to pen and ink. My subject matter interests include birds of the Pacific Northwest including ducks, loons, eagles, hawks, chickadees, sparrows, herons, gulls and woodpeckers. I consider myself a naturalist as well as a conservationist, and have a degree in Biology which helps me understand the anatomy of my subject matter.
